The 3 Famous New Zealand people

We all know Jean Batten,Sir Edmund Hillary and Ernest Rutherford. Well, I will tell you a little about them and what we learnt about them.

Jean Batten flew across the world from England to New Zealand breaking the world record at the time. We made a map of where she flew to and a paper airplane.

Sir Edmund Hillary was the first person to climb Mount Everest. We made an item to help climb Mount Everest.

And finally, Ernest Rutherford was the first person to split the atom (they call him the father of nuclear physics). We named the part of the atom and coloured it in.

The best thing I did in the holidays

One day, on the first of July 2025, I went to the arcade with my friend, Daniel! First, my mum drove me,Daniel and Anthony to the botany downs arcade, second, my mum cashed in her credit card for 60 or something dollars. Thirdly, we went wild, first we used our card on a candy machine, I can’t even remember because we put the card in so many of machines. After the card went to zero, we brought a sticky, stretchy hand and some sour candy. For lunch we had McDonalds but there was a long line because it was lunch. After we ate our lunch, we went back home to play on iPad, hide and seek and Nintendo. An hour or two after, Daniel had to go home. We said goodbye and he went. The end.
