Jamaica Commonwealth

Do you know a country that won over 100 medals in the 2016 Olympics and won 11 medals in the Commonwealth? Well the name is Jamaica it is a small country but has lots of power. It has more than four major mountain ranges, and Jamaica is an island that sits over a large underwater mountain. A third of Jamaicans live in a place called Kingston and the population is 590,00.

Jamaica joined the Commonwealth in 1930 and has been competing in the games since 1934 and has won 105 medals in total, and holds six commonwealth world records.

When it comes to track and field running there are lots of athletes but there is one that stands out the most, Usain Bolt the faster track runner in Jamaica and the world and holds the world record of the 100 metre race the last time we have seen Bolt was in the 216 Olympics where he came first but he had a major hamstring stretch but he is still a legend and we will always be to Jamaica.

So overall Jamaica is a very good country when it comes to sports, and I wish I could visit and explore Jamaica.
