1.) When was rugby introduced to New Zealand and by who?
Rugby was first introduced to NZ in 1870 by Charles Monro

2.) When did New Zealand play their first rugby game?
The first rugby game was played in May of 1870
3.) When did New Zealand play their first international game? Did they win or lose? What was the score?
New Zealand played their first international game is 1893 but lost to 6-8
4.) When was the New Zealand team called the All Blacks? Why are they known as the All Blacks?
1893 was when the All Blacks team was founded but they werent called the All Blacks until the year 1905. Before they were called the New Zealand Māori. They are know as the All Black because theur uniforms were the "Blackest of the Black"

5.) Name 3 of their best players. What are they known for?

(1) Richie McCaw; Richie holds the world record for Test Appearances. (2) Jonaj Tali Lomu; Lomu is usually reffered to as the first true global superstar of Rugby union. He was top player in the 1995 Rugby World Cup even though NZ ended up losiung the game. He was also the Rugby world cup all time top try scorer.(3) Colin Meads; Colin is currently a living legend of All Blacks team. He is reffered to asbthe greatest player to ever take the field by many people. he was dedicated to the sport that he played with a broken arm against Africa for a game and when the doctor was looking at it his famous remark was “atleast we won the blody game.”

6.) Why do the All Blacks perform the haka before each match? What does it mean and what do they perform it for?

Before their games, the All Blacks perform a traditional war dance called ‘The Haka’. The Haka was fighting dance and war cry for their people thats why they do it. They  perform it with an extreme amount of intensity to intimidate the other teams. It lets the other teams know they’re serious and giving it all they got.
