Week 1:

Planning

So we planned a lot for this game to be a success and in this game we have lots of exciting things but I will keep that a secret from all of you people who are waiting for the game to release, This game is is all about kaitiakitanga.

Storyline

There was a young boy with a lot of bright ideas to protect to world the name of the boy was Karl, Karl was a bright boy full of ideas and when he grew up he became a wonderful architecture designer and one day he built a beautiful amusement park and it was a mix of a zoo and amusement park but one day that was about to change when a group of people came and wanted to buy it to demolish it and build something else Karl declined the group of vindicators and they weren’t happy with that so they made a plan to destroy it all!

Name of the game

Our name of our game is Te Ngahere mean the forest and we chose this because it would sound good for a nature reserve and water reserve.

Rules

1.  No breaking the blocks
2. HAVE FUN!!!

Week 2/3:

 

Introduction

This is our Minecraft world based on kaitiakitanga (Guardian of nature) and in this world you will be able to see lots of nature reserves here.

This week we have been focusing on making an advertisement about our game of Minecraft it will be very exciting and many things about nature like sea lives and nature animals lives.

What is an advertisement?

An advertisement is an ad that shows what the game is about and the rules and the storyline (why the game is made and who is it about). The people that made games like Minecraft and many other game made ads to tell people about their game.

What is Canva?

We made this on Canva , Canva is an app that helps you make Ads for your game that you are currently making. Canva can help in lots of stuff like making posters ads and many more stuff.

What I enjoyed about Canva the most?

I enjoyed when me and my buddy (Mankaran) had these amazing ideas for our canva ad, it was very fun creating it and i enjoyed that the most.

Week 4/5

How to build a Minecraft World

To successfully  build a good Minecraft world  first you need to make an account chose a password and username you want to make after that you need to plan about it, first gather up ideas about what you want to build it about. When you have finished that, then go on Minecraft and click on create new world and chose flat or infinite, ( I would pick infinite because of the mountains and cool ideas you can use) after you finish that create what you thought of in your plan on the big page of paper.

Tips

1. If you guys want you guys can use the agent to make it easier for all of you people to make your Minecraft project.
2. Be in creative while building your project in Minecraft.

These are the Images that are in our Minecraft world and when you kill the pests you will get rewards and then you can spend them here to get plants and resources.

Week 6:

What Is Kaitiakitanga?

In TGS ( The Gardens School ) kaitiakitanga is basically about caring for plants keeping our gardens clean and just not letting plastic in our gardens or our drains. Our school has produced lots of cool activities that tell us about kaitiakitanga in short guardianship, The school has gaven us oppertunities like Blake VR, Tread lightly caravan which both lasted a whole block ( 1hour and 30 minutes ).

How My World Shows Kaitiakitanga?

• We have an aquarium that show different types of species of fishes
• We have bees and bee hives and flower to show how bees make honey
• There will be a farmer that will sell plants/ flower and you can buy them after you complete the quests

How My Game Shows Kaitiakitanga?

So there will be quest which you have to complete to get and item ( can’t reveal right now ) that will help you to grow the plants which you will be growing. This game of our in Minecraft is based on nature reserves and marine reserves like Blake VR was a marine reserve same like this, and like tread lightly caravan that is nature reserve we mainly based this of the things we did at school.

What I Have Learnt About Kaitiakitanga

I have learnt that how plant give us O2 at day time and CO2 at night, I learnt how to take care of plants the correct way, I learnt how important plants us to all of us, I learnt what photosynthesis is. Now I know much better information about plants.
