What is a cinquain poem?

A Cinquain poem is poem the contains four

lines.

The first line contains two adjectives related to the title or topic.

The second line contains three words that usually end with “ing”

The third line can be a sentence related to your topic and maximum of four words.

The last line is really just one word related to your topic to finish off the poem

I am samoan

Great in running

Epic at rugby league

 

An acrostic poem is a special poem, you first need to think about a word and write it on the side of the page/paper. After writing the word write a word or sentence for each letter of the word you chose.
