1. When was rugby introduced to New Zealand and by who?
A. Rugby was introduced to New Zealand in 1870 by Charles Monro.

2. When did New Zealand play their first game?
A. The teams first match was in 1884.

3. When did New Zealand play the first international game?
Did they win or lose? What was the score?
A. They play the 1903 when they played against Australia in 
Sydney. They won the national rugby world cup in 1987.

4. when was the New Zealand team called All Blacks?
 Why and how did they become known as All Blacks?
A. They were called All Blacks in 1905. They were called 
All Blacks because of their black uniform.

5. Name three of the best players and what they’re known for.
A. Richie McCaw who hold the world record for test appearances.
Jonah Tali Lamu, Lamu is usually referred to as the first 
global superstar of the rugby union. Colin Meads, Meads was
so dedicated to the sport he even played with a broken arm.

6. What do the All Blacks preform before each match? What does 
it mean why they perform it?
A. For the all black games they do a Haka, it’s a traditional 
war dance. The other team know that they are serious and bringing
their all.
