Guardians of the earth
They are all worth
If you litter
Then they bitter
Then the litter gets stuck
without any luck
Then their death
Is not our breath
So don’t litter
Or you won’t get a sticker

Tōtara Park trip
On the 30th of July week 2 we went to Tōtara park for our inquiry theme kaitiakitanga ( Guardians of the environment). When we arrived to Tōtara park it was really muddy. And we had to download this app name seed this app is made for kids and when you scan a plant or an animal it will show you the exact animal or plant. But apart from that we had to walk two paths which as I said in the beginning it was really muddy.Kāhu 5,3,6 went on a different journey and Kāhu 1,2,4 went on a different journey too. After the walk we had morning tea and then we had to switch over meaning that kāhu 1,2 and 4 had to go on Kāhu 5,3 and 6 is journey and they had to go on our journey. 👇Here are some pictures from Tōtara park.
Botanic Gardens trip
On Tuesday the 6th of August we wen to botanical gardens for our inquiry theme kaitiakitanga ( guardians of the environment). When we got to botanical gardens it wasn’t as muddy as Tōtara park. After we got there we sat down, then Miss Rowland started to call out groups, then after we found our groups, the teacher that I had was Mrs Dissmeyer. We had two different activities to do, the first one was to find plants in alphabetical order (A to Z).Then after finding all the plants we all came back to where we started from and then we had morning tea. Then we all went to our next adventure. The second activity was about how the water is kept at the botanical gardens. It wasn’t really an activity it was more like a talk about how they keep their water clean and what do they do to make it clean. Then after that we kept on walking and then we all came back again to where we started and we did the afternoon roll then we headed back to school which was like a 10 or 14 walk back. Here are some pictures from botanical gardens.

The cat was as big as the train.
But it was locked up in a chain.
The cat eyes were as big as a ball.
but they weren’t as big as a hall.
The cat was enormous.
But it wasn’t flawless.
The train burst into tears.
while caring stares.
The cat purd while sleeping purr purr purr.
And the cat purd a thousand times while leaping
The train was filled but it wasn’t a zoo.
But it wasn’t as loud as a woo.
