Hungry Wolf

We have all heard of The Little Red Riding Hood, right? Well, did you ever wonder how the wolf felt? And what would have happened if everyone thought about the wolf’s feelings? I am the wolf, and this is my story.

I lost count of the days since I last tasted food. All I can do is think about my life before, when the forest was full of joy and yummy food. I sat in the forest weeping. One day out of the corner of my eye, I saw a young girl with a big red cape. I thought maybe, just maybe, she could give me food. I approached the little girl.

“Oh young girl, I am so hungry. I see you have a basket of delicious food, may I take it please?” The little girl looked confused and scared. “Um okay, you look really hungry, would you like to come and have tea with me and my grandma” I love little girls, they will always understand my pain. I am starving and hungry and all she can think about is caring for me.

We went to the little girl’s grandma’s house, she thought I was going to eat her. I didn’t, I did eat almost all the food though. Little girl said I can come and eat tea at her house whenever I like, she also helped me find berries I can eat. It will take some adjusting, because I am a meat eater. I am very grateful for the little girl.

Little girl and I love playing, she says even though I am a wolf, I am very fun to play with. Our favourite game is hide and seek. Little girl is my best friend, she was so kind to me when I needed it most. It is always nice to care for others, even if it means sharing with them.

  1. Great work the poor wolf in different story’s all it want was food little girl was very kind but my small tip is maybe you should add more hard vocabulary in you sentence But still I loved the story I loved the quirky ness and I loved how you turned a popular story into a whole different story in the wolf’s perspective good jobヾ(๑╹◡╹)ノ”
