How to make a Hangi

materials:

  • vegetables, (cantaloupes, potatoes, cucumber, pumpkin)
  • any meat (mutton, chicken ect)
  • iron, wood, volcanic stones

method:

Step 1: First, dig the pit

Step 2: add the railway irons

Step 3: prepare the wood

Step 4: add the volcanic stones

Step 5: prepare the veggies (peel ect)

Step 6: place all of your ingredients separately and wrap them in tin foil

Step 7: light the fire

Step 8: Wait around 2 hours for the fire to burn

Step 9: get some older people (or adults) to take out the ashes and stones

Step 10: bring the food over, put it in

Step 11: add the stones and ashes back in

Step 12: hose the ashes and burnt wood 

Step 13: wait for the food to be ready (you can tell)

Step 14: dig up the hangi

Step 15: eat up!!
