Term 4 Keynote Steam

Reflection:

Something l learnt about keynote is about telling stories or the learning stuff.

What is in my keynote is life cycle of a plant, rubbish bin art, Connie’s motorbike, Matariki stars, and Matariki make up  from Freeform.

Something l need to do better is add some more details if not enough and don’t add anything that will not be in the keynote work.

STEAM week 10

Look at Luca, my plant, now he is 13 cm tall! I always make sure to give him soil, keep him in sunlight, keep him warm, and water him. I love watching him grow! I have done the same for Lina, my other plant. Don’t you think they’re both cute and healthy? They are growing strong and look adorable! And I don’t think they are silly at all. I just said sillyish because some plants can seem a bit funny, but not mine.

Luca’s leaves are getting bigger every day. They are deep green color and the edges are a little round. They look so healthy. I noticed that after I water him, the leaves become shinier, like he is saying thank you.

Even through, Luca and Lina are both my plants, they  are pretty different. Luca’s leaves are bigger, and his stem is taller and straighter, he grows a little faster, too. Lina’s leaves are smaller, but they have more veins on them, and they feel different when I touch them.

It is interesting to watch them grow!

STEAM week 6/7

Plants are important to environment because it releasing oxygen into the atmosphere, absorbing carbon dioxide, providing nutrients to animals, and regulating the water cycle.Plants make Oxygen for us to breathe just by absorbing carbon dioxide, they take in carbon dioxide with water, soil and the sunlight, then it produce oxygen in photosynthesis system.

STEAM week 8

There are 5 things that are important to grew plants, water, sunlight, soil, heat and air.

Most plants need water often but not too much, because too much water may drown the plant. To prevent that, you could drill a hole at the bottom of a cup.

All plants need photosynthesis to survive, and photosynthesis only happens in sunlight. Sunlight also provide the heat.

Plants needs soil to survive, too, because soil provide food to plant, so soil must be nutritious and suitable for this plant.

Plants needs air to breathe, and need carbon dioxide to produce oxygen.
