Write a Narrative about a family attending the ‘Gala in the Gardens’

One lovely day at 7:00 in the morning, I thought someone was getting murdered. “What’s going on?” ‘Why are you not ready?! We need to go to the Gardens Gala in 10 minutes “”The Gardens, What?!!” “Just get ready and get in the car. You will see later “”what about breakfast?” “There will be something there anyways, Now go get ready!” Mum said and pushed me out of the room. “WHAT DO I WEAR!!” “SOMETHING!!” “Wow so helpful” “what was that” “NOTHING!! I’M GOING TO GET READY!! Ugh”

After I got ready I hopped into the car where I saw Dad. “Do you know where we are going?” “Nope, as long as they have food, I’m happy” “ok” a few minutes later Mum got into the car and I started bombarding her with questions. “Where are we going? Why are we going? I don’t Wanna go “”I told you, you will see when we get there now hush “”UGHH!!” And she started driving

Once we got there I thought this was going to be so boring until I saw my worst enemy. “Nope!” I said and turned around. “Why, doesn’t it look fun?!” “No, it doesn’t and also, Jessica and Angela are here. That makes it much worse “”why, what did they do to you?” “I’ll tell you later, all you need to know is that I can’t be seen” “May! What a lovely surprise!” “Too late” I muttered to myself. “Angela, Hi. What are you doing here?” “I could ask you the same question. Are these your parents?” “Yeah, Mum and dad, meet Angela and Jessica” “very nice to meet you Mr and Mrs Margret” “Lovely to meet you too! May, she doesn’t seem bad” mum whispered to me. “Trust me, you haven’t seen her bad side” “May, would you like to go get some food with me and Jessica?” I gave mum that, “Help me” look but she pushed me along so I had to say, “sure, I would love to” and we started to walk off.

“Listen here brat you- “you’re calling me the brat? Wow that’s broad” “Shush, as I was saying. You better leave this gala. It’s already bad enough to see your face at school. I don’t want to see it here either “”well, no can do Angela. My parents forced me to be here and I doubt they would let me leave” “well I guess we will have to make them” she said with an evil grin on her face. “Oh no” I said worriedly.

A few minutes later, I walked up to my parents and started crying, not like I wasn’t already going to. “Mum, can we go?” I asked, crying. “Oh honey, what happened?” “I don’t want to talk about it, I just want to go” “ok, Richard! We’re going!” “Coming honey!” Dad said with a face stuffed with food. I looked at Angela and she had a smile on her face while acting all innocent with the other guests. “I hate you Angela!” I thought to myself as we walked to the car.
