The school holidays my friend Steven, David and I spend a lot of time on our skateboards. We wanted to be the best at it by learning the steps one by one. We went to the botanic gardens to learn at a flat platform, but unfortunately we got kicked out of there because they said no skateboard or other bicycle allowed.
We thought it would be cool to come to the school and practise our skills to an intermediate level and get comfortable with our boards. We successfully got comfortable with our board as we’ve been practising for 3 days but I also damaged my foot by accident and couldn’t really push harder.
A few more days later I was fully recovered and we decided to go to the skatepark together but David had to stay home. As soon we got there we were super excited and started to practise ASAP. We couldn’t wait for our parents to park, so we left them behind. There’s a lot of people at the skatepark. Almost most of the plate form has been taken, but the empty flat concrete is what is left. Me and Steven had no choice, we didn’t know that there’s a lot of people at around 4 PM, and also a lot of screaming.
I spent half of my holidays hanging out with my friends, and I have work to do in the other half. I had to go to my drawing teacher and learn how to draw real humans that are made out of rocks. The drawing was successful but it was hard to draw the hair, but luckily it only took me 6 hours to finish the whole design.
My term 3 holidays were really fun but I hope the botanic garden will let us ride on our boards.
