Introduction: John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is a famous writer/philologist. He was born in 1892 January 3rd in South Africa. Some of his biggest achievements is Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarilion and The Fellowship Of The Ring.
Early life: When Tolkien was four his father died, in South Africa. His mother, brother and himself moved near Birmingham, England. After a few years his mother Mabel died of diabetes in November 1904. He soon fell in love with Edith Bratt that inspired him on his fictional character. On Tolkien’s 21th birthday he asked Edith Bratt to marry home while attended Kings Edward’s School in Birmingham.
Lord Of The Rings Journey: J.R.R Tolkien is one of the most famous writers in the 1800s. He wrote over 29 books in his life, The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings are some of his famous books that he has written in the past. The Lord Of The Rings took him 12 years to write and 5 year to be fully published.
Tolkien Day: Many people loved Tolkien’s books especially his most famous ones. They celebrated Tolkiens day on the 25th of March by reading their favorite parts or sentences of the books to remember and recognize Tolkien. The reason Tolkien’s day was on the 25th of March was because on that very day, the ring was destroyed, completing Frodo’s quest and vanquishing Sauron. This was organized by the Tolkien society since 2003 to encourage fans to celebrate.
Conclusion: J.R.R. Tolkien worked very hard in his life writing and creating 29 books that made him very famous after he died. He didn’t have a very good time in his childhood where his parents died.
