As  there is a new week

i begin to feel weak

as I play my games

I realise that they are lame

so i started to think of what to do

Instead I played a game that had a brawler called Lou

So as I just sat there and began to watch tv

As I laughing out loud

I like to sit out side and look at a cloud

As I was looking some one was playing a really loud

As  the days come to the end I realise what everything I did

All the memory I made the way it was all up to  me looking at

When I was at the botanical gardens it wa clean and tidy with animals like ducks eels and some birds.

I’ve noticed that tōtara park had more wildlife and it smelt normal and that it was natural but in botanical gardens some of the places weren’t natural but instead it was man made.

The water in botanical gardens was somewhat murky   compared to tōtara park the water is clean but a little bit less mercury than botanical gardens

But the one thing was different between botanical garden and tōtara park was the different type of flowers and plants that was everywhere in botanical gardens

Last Saturday me and my family drove to Rainbows end at 5:15 cause my cousins were there and were waiting for us even though  it starts at 6 o clock when we got their it was 5:25. We were trying to find our cousin until we saw them in the front on the line with my cousins bucket hat poking out  that’s how we saw them cause they blended in the crowd like if they were camouflage.

When we got to the line it wasn’t noting much it was just people in the line doing dances or just talking it took 20 mins to get our rainbows end band because when we got there it was 

5:25 but the ticket stand open at 5:30-5:40 so we waited ages to get our band.but once we got that done we had to wait 20 minutes cause the rides start at 6 o clock.it felt like I was waiting for hours cause it was taking to long until an employee open the gate at the same time it hit 6 o clock.so every one ran beside us cause we didn’t want to every one else in my Group wanted to go on the stratosphere but me and my brother and cousin wanted to go on the scorpion kart so we all split off me and my brother,and cousin go off to scorpion kart and the avers went of the stratosphere when we got to the line of the scorpion karts we had to wait for 20 minutes cause aver people was their cause they all ran when it was 6 o’clock.when it was our turn to go on the people had to heck if I was tall enough for the cause they thought I was short but when they did I was just right height to ride so when I got back in the line this aver kid got tested but he wasn’t tall enough to go on the ride cause he was a couple cm off. when It was our tern to get on the karts.when I  got on the kart I felt a little bit weird cause I haven’t drive a go kart before but once the lady explained the rules I was like ok this is easy so once we began we had to be hold back for a little bit cause the left side goes first and the right side goes a little bit latter but once I started driving I didn’t know which is the fastest way  to get through the corner but when I got to a corner all of a sudden I see my cousin and brother right behind me then nick minute I’m all of a sudden I start spinning back wards. So I hurry to pull the brakes so I don’t crash but when I look back my cousin and brother wasn’t their but in fact they were in front of me.they had overtaken me and now all of the sudden I’m one of the last drivers every one else was far a head of me beside some one else to just went pass me so now it was my time to shine so I started doing all the short cut mange to get past to person but it was the last lap so once I finished that I got back to the finish line in order and got out off the seat after that the employee told us to unbuckle and then we can go.

When I got out we were planning on what we were gonna go next we all decided to go to laser tag when we got their some aver people were playing so we had to wait. It took ages until the timer finished.when the time finish a door opened than an employee came outside. So we all come to the room and it had all the laser tag equipment I was so amazed with all the cool stuff in laser tag.once we were ready the employee told us died any one know how to play laser tag and than my brother said my name and said this is his first time playing laser tag so she told us the rules of the game and that there’s a tv somewhere and that if you shoot it you get 1000 points once we got out we all ran to different directions but once we headed  to a different place I started to look for my brother and cousin so I can go tag them I found my cousin but he got me so me and him ran to a different direction so it would be fair it took to the holl game to find my brother cause he was being chassed from my cousin while I was clueless on where every one was cause I haven’t seen any one I was a little sceptical so I was vary careful so I wouldn’t be the first one to be tag from the back or the front or the side. I looked everywhere for them but when the game was almost finished I found him I he got me he wasn’t running away but in fact he stayed to hit me away and than he ran way when I start to chase him.when I start to chase him and find him the timer was finished so we headed out and went to find the avers cause their ride were finished.

Pg4 we looked everywhere for them until we found them at the power surge every one wanted to go on it but I didn’t but my brother and friend told me to come with them to get food cause they were hungry but I didn’t told them I was hungry to.so we got to the food court and ate food when we finished our food every one finished the power surge and was coming to us to get something to eat or to see what ride we were gonna do next.wich was gold rush but when we were walking to it their was a massive line that would take ages for us to go on a ride so we decided to go on a different ride instead we went to the log flume when we got their we had to wait ages cause of how long the line is we almost spent 50 minutes in the line because of how popular it was when we were at the front we were planning on who’s going with who I would go with my cousin and my brother and my sister would go with my cousin and my brother would go with his friend. The entire time every thst was on the ride with me were all screaming and laughing when go down a drop or when we rocked the boat and all most sinking it and us in the process when  we were gonna go down the massive drop we all hold on but mid way down I out my hands app and my cousin doing a funny pose when we got out we ran to see what our photos looked like my one was the funniest out of our group when we went out my cousin took a photo and ran to us cause no one was aloud to take a photo of the photo cause you have to pay for it instead of taking a photo of it for free. When we got out we were all deciding on where to go next wich me and my group chose score reliant karts again this was the third time but this time there was more of us it was my group my brother and his friend than my cousin and my sister ran off to go on the power surge which was a bad idea. We had to wist ages for our turn cause their we 29 people before us we were all arguing about which one was fast and which one was slow.when we got on every we were all going to the left side than all of a sudden every baled on me and went on the left side I was so mad cause we were all gonna go on the right side but it’s fine when it was finally my turn to drive cause the. Left side goes first than a little more seconds than the right side went out when I was driving I over took 8 people in scorpion karts my cousins and my siblings were all far a head cause of the big lead they had cause they were on the left side at the start it was so funn racing cause you can over took people when ever you want.

After that the girls were still waiting in the line meanwhile we went in the family karts instead of me going with some one else I was gonna drive but again it took us ages cause how many people was at family karts but when we were in the. Front the guy measured my height just in case if I’m tall enough for the ride but lucky I was tall anoth so after that went on the family karts it was a little different cause their was the breaks that was in the passenger side so that was weird but also the turns was way sharper than scorpion karts it was so funny I was driving really fast not even stopping in the sharp corners but before that the guy said you have 3 laps than you have to get out . When it was the third lap this kid that look older was trying to work out how to drive while I was coming to the finish he moved to my side when I saw it was to late but that didn’t happen but instead I hit his kart sending me up wards while hitting the curve and mangling to get passed him I almost hit the coves but I didn’t once we were done with that the girls had just gotten on we waited ages for them to finish while they were in the ride we were all decided in wich ride we were going on  next cause it was our last ride until rainbows end close. it was laser tag or the cord screw rollercoaster the avers chose the rollercoaster while we chose teaser tag but when we saw that laser tag was so full we decided to go on the roller coaster with the avers when we got there they.time felt to fast cause we only went on 8 rides but while I was remembering what we did it was our turn to go on I felt depressed cause we didn’t go to laser tag but at the same time I felt like I was gonna spew so I told my brother that was gonna be with me when we got on every was scream while I was dead silent it didn’t felt fun as it use to be but at least this time I didn’t bang my head for when we went up side down. It felt to quick when I was gonna say something it was done than we all headed home I wasn’t to happy cause of how quickly it went

My first few days have been quit fine to how it was last year

I’m so glad to be a year 8 in the kahu cause we get to do more things than last year like going to  rainbows end, camp  this year that I didn’t do last year cause you have to be a year 8 to go to rainbows end or I had to wait 2 years for camp.

every thing is the same as last year but their are some stuff that have changed like getting orange bands to go in side .and becoming a year  8 and going to rainbows end.

instructions to uno

Uno is a skill/luck based game it usually depends on what card you have and what card your opponent has the maximum of players are 2-10 or how much cards you have

1. Each person has 7-11 cards depending on how much people you playing with You can put down a card that are the same colour or same  number as the card that was putted down 
2. + cards plus card are use to give aver people cards or when someone put a plus card down and it’s your turn you can put down a plus card but if you don’t then you have to pick up the amount that the plus card showed like +2 or +4.it can get up to as many of plus cards you or they put down 
3. Skip your turn card lets you skip  the next’s persons turn so that means they can’t put down a card until it’s there game again
4. Reverse card you have to go the opposite way that you were playing before
5. You can pick up a card and put it down but it has to be the same colour or number  because it still counts as your turn 
6. You can’t end in a power card
7. You can stack you cards if you have if you have 2 or 6 cards of the same colour and number you can  put it down you can put as many card that are the same number and colour
8. You gotta have 1 last card that ain’t a power card to win you gotta say uno before getting to 1 card or else you have to pick up 2 cards .
9. the best uno card pack is no mercy Cause all the cards are harder so instead of a plus +4 there’s a plus 10+ the gets incredibly times harder cause you gotta watch out for every one cause they might put a +10 on you  when it’s your turn and that you called uno

Today I am spend the day with my grandma  so this a a story about me spending with my grandma we did something fun stuff 

This morning when I woke up I would always say hi to my grandma, so like every day I would say hi to grandma and grandpa but grandpa was doing something today so I got to spend all day with my grandma. This morning after I said hi to her I went to fell up her water bottle because she always finish it so after I fill up her water bottle I ask her if she wants some musi  ( crackers ) so I ask her then she said ok every time I wake I would ask her or she would ask me can you put the tv on to her channel. But when it was gonna go to Lunch time I ask her if she wants to play  uno but before that happen my grandpa came back and brought us food for me and her would eat our pies that grandpa got  then when we were finish I ask her if she wants to play uno and she said ok so I went to go get the card game then we started playing we was playing. For ages I kept putting done a card which makes the aver person get 2 cards or 4 cards it was so funny.we played through so many rounds and I didn’t know she could shuffle the cards so all those games she shuffled it then we would start playing all the time she would always win then sometimes I would when so when it was the last round when she was putting cards done I was getting cards from the card stack so when she was on the last 3 cards she put down the swarp card so it swap so I gave her all my cards and she gave me all her cards then I won because the last 2 cards that she had before the cards swarp  was the same so I won because of that.

After that she ask me if I want fababa which is basically a Samoan food it’s like a banana cake but home made so she gave it to because I said yes then we ate it all .When we was playing that card game we were laughing some much it was so funny she won so much games!. but anyways back to when we was eating fababa it was so yummy a specially when you add butter and jam my grandma made it like the night before it was still yum even Doe it was  fun playing with my grandma in uno.When we all done then me and my grandma sat  down  on the couch but before We did that I ask her if she wants her bottle and she said yes after that when I sat on the couch we was watch her show but after it was 30 minutes then I got bored so then I was playing with my hand ball and then stopped to watch her show then went back to play with my hand ball.

When I was going upstairs to go look at the time I would all ways say bye to her every time when I go upstairs she would ask if I was going to school or going somewhere then I would reply I going upstairs then I would go downstairs and do nothing beside playing with my hand ball and watching Tv with my grandma then I ask her if she want to play that card game which was uno and she said ok then as soon as we start she put down a +4 card on my I was laughing because I put a + 2 card then she started laughing when she put a +2 card but I ran out so I had to pick up 8 cards as when I got those 8 cards I had gain a swap card then I put it down then we swapped so I got her 6 cards and she got my 13 cards  so that was funny then she use 4 same number cards then now she was down to 9 and I was still on 6 because I don’t have same number card or same couple ca4 as that card that my grandma place then she won she won half of the time and I won half of the time then we stoped for some reson then we bofore got tired then we went back to tv agin

When it was night time after I finish eating my dinner and after my grandma eating her dinner I just sat in the chair and going on my ipad for a little get then watching tv for a little bit then I went to play games with my my brother and sister but before I sat down I said hi to her  after I sat down and play games I went to go upstairs to see what’s my siblings doing then I went back down and said hi to her again.

How to make a hangi well I do

There’s lots of steps on how to make it but at the end it is worth doing  it but when you finish making it. Its super yummy when it’s done when you’re making the hangi you can spend time with your friends and family doing it. You need lots of people to make it.it’s fun making the hangi when you have lots of people. When you done digging the whole ou need to cool volcano rocks wood and iron don’t use normal rocks because if you Cook normale rocks then it would explode but volcano rocks doesn’t explode how you Cook it you put it in a fire all together then wait for a fess hours  

First on how to make a hangi you need to dig a big holl normale the adults do it but sometimes the kids have to dig the holl you at least  need lots of people to dig the holl but if you did by yourself it would take ages to dig the big holl it Probably take hours. To do it it’s good to have lots of people to do it  so you don’t feel longy by doing it yourself 

Next after you dig the holl you need to prepare the food to put in the holl 

You can put anything in a hangi but not sweat stuff like Lollies or else  it wouldn’t taste nice but the main stuff that you need to prepare is vegetables like carrots potato radish cabbage  Kumara and aver vegetables you can also prepare chicken beef and aver type of beef  you also can prepare fish for the hangi.

After you finish preparing the food and the rocks and stuff or finish then you take out the rocks and  rood and iron Out from the fire then you put the rocks and stuff in the hole after you done that then you put flax under and over it  on the food so when you put it in the pit it doesn’t get burned. 

After you do that then you put the food down with the flax under that 

Before you put it in you see any spots that shows the food if there is then put some more flax so no part shows the food then you put the food in the put after you put the food in the pit the put dirt on top then wait for ages it takes a long time to took so that’s when you play games with your cousins and family some of the parents has to watch the hangi cook or else it over cooks 

When it’s all done then you take out all the dirt that was on top of the food which you may need some people to help you dig  it up when you take out all the dirt then take out the food then put it on the table and take out the top part of the flax then you see all the yummy food and that’s how you make a hangi
