Planning

My group and I sat in auaha and did some  planning on some paper. We discussed about Minecraft and the theme Kaitiakitanga for our game in Minecraft.

Storyline

You get trapped by the evil villain dr. Evil in a quiz. He tells you to finish this you’ll free all the animals in the cages but it is so hard that he can’t do it be he made it so he tells you that you can’t do it so then you do it for the animals sake’s

Name of Game
I named it “kaitiaki quiz” because it’s a quiz about kaitiakitanga

Rules

The rules of the game is

• • do not RUN
  • if you answer a question just go for it
  • Save the world
  • save the animals

Week 2+3

This is my advertisement I created for my Minecraft game in canva.

What is an advertisement?

An advertisement is a poster or an ad to promote the game/item your selling.

What is canva?

Canva is a editing software that you can use to make a poster or a image

What I enjoyed about canva?

I liked all the theme that you can use to make your poster with canva and all the pixilated thingsand all the fonts you can use to make it look real

Week 4 & 5

How to build a world

1. Open Minecraft
2. Log in your account if you have one
3. Click on play
4. Click on “create world”
5. Click play world

Tips

Kill the green guys you find at night the ones that look like grass run away or the skeleton. The guys with the long nose don’t hit or a big white guy will come and kill you. Stay  away with the long nose guy with a hat that’s a witch it trow bottles at you

What I learned about kaitiakitanga

I learned that kaitiakitanga is just not about nature it’s also about the land animals and sea animals.

I learned how to take care of a plant. I learned that they need lots of water when the soil looks sandy and light brown. It’s takes time to grow like one week to grow 2 cm.

Plants are very important to our environment. They take in the carbon dioxide we breathe out and make it oxygen for us to breathe in and they make food for us and the animals. Wonderful things.

        Here is my diagram showing how photosynthesis works.

We did an experiment on a celery. It turned red because we put red food colouring in the water. So the celery drained up the water that’s how it turns red it is still healthy but it is red

Living things can move, die, interact with the environment and reproduce. Plants can be in different colours. Pitcher pod dissolves bugs.

We have planted a seed and are observing what will happens as it grows. Please check my slides to check out my plants life cycle.
