Peter Jackson’s life story.

Peter Jackson was born in Wellington, New Zealand. He started filming at the young age of 8 when his family friends gifted him an 8-cine  camera, and he began making short films. Peter Jackson attended Kapiti College but did not have the best time there due to his lack of interest in sports. Instead, he was more interested in filmmaking and religious subjects. Peter’s parents’ names are Joan Ruck who was a factory worker and William Jackson whose job was as a  Municipal clerk and is the only child. He is married to Fran Walsh and has two children, Katie and Billy. He started his career with the movie “Chapstick” a horror comedy film in 1987 and a comedy film called “Meet The Feebles. Jackson has been awarded three Academy Awards for The Lord of the Rings which he started making in 1999 on 11 October and finished on 22 December 2000 he also received a Golden Globe, Four Saturn Awards and three BAFTAs.
