Term 4 Keynote STEAM

My Keynote Presentation

Reflection

Something I learned about Keynote:

I learned how to make shapes and how to group lots of shapes as one. And how to animate slides, I also learned how to add a live recording to record while presenting my slides.

What is my Keynote?

My keynote is about water cycle my keynote explains topics relevant to water  like rivers, snowflake’s ,waterfalls and ground water.

Something I need to do better on keynote:

Something  I need to do better on keynote is I need to explore all the options more like I was only choosing one type of animation so I know for next time I will explore all the animations, features and fonts.

A acrostic poem is a poem in which certain letters of each line spell out a word, name, or phrase when read vertically. Most often, it’s the first letter of each line that spells out the word, but they can be placed anywhere on the line. When they’re placed elsewhere in the line, it forms a kind of hidden code.

cinquin poem is a type of special poetry that is very nice and doesn’t require any rhymes to make it nice so it’s basically just a poem at the top it’s the title for example “cats” then the second line is 2 words like fun and cute. Then the third one is three words like playing screaming meowing Then you write one name or a word like a cats name or a cat breed.

Week 5 steam term 3 t3

We divided into groups based on our swimming levels and prepared an experiment. We filled a container with half water and added 15 drops of food coloring. Then, we placed a healthy asparagus plant in the mixture and let it sit overnight. Unfortunately, our plant was quite dry and weak at first. However, by morning, it had grown taller and stronger. It absorbed about a quarter of the water, and we could clearly see where the water had traveled within the plant.

Week 9 steam t3.t3

Hello, it’s me, Gurdaya. I’ve learned a lot about how to take care of plants, including how much water they need and how essential sunlight is for their growth. I also discovered how to make a plant grow faster! Here’s a tip: take a small piece of plastic wrap and place it gently on top of the plant. Make sure not to press down too hard, as this could damage the plant. Once you’ve done this, you’re finished! This method is called moisture-sealing.

Next time, I’ll try to remember to regularly check my plant and its weight. Sometimes, I used to forget to water it, so my goal is to always remember to water it when needed. By picking it up and checking if it feels heavy or light, I can determine if it needs water. I’ll also make sure to keep it safe and close to the sun.

Week 6/7 steam t3.t3

Why do we need plants?

We need plants because they give us oxygen, without oxygen we can’t breathe and plants can also grow us fabulous fruits and vegetables that are full with nutrition that are healthy for us. Secondly Plants provide us with food through which we get essential nutrients and energy.Plants help in cleaning the air so that we can breathe freshly all the time.

How do plants help us:

Plants give us oxygen. Oxygen is in the air we breathe. All living things need it.

Plants give us food. Many plants are good to eat. Vegetables are plants. Fruits, nuts, beans, and seeds come from plants.Plants give us shade. Trees are the largest plants. In the summer, trees are full of leaves.

Week 6/7 blogs steam

Week 6 and seven together:

Did you know? Nature constantly refills the food cupboard by recycling nutrients from dead plants and
animals back into the soil. Nature’s cleanup crews are fungus, insects, mites (tiny
spiderlike animals), and bacteria (tiny life-forms). Earthworms, bacteria, and
other tiny living things in the soil chew up and digest dead plants. They turn all
those fallen leaves and brown stems back into minerals in the soil. Plants pull the
minerals up through their roots. That’s crazy!
