Why do we need plants?
We need plants because they give us oxygen, without oxygen we can’t breathe and plants can also grow us fabulous fruits and vegetables that are full with nutrition that are healthy for us. Secondly Plants provide us with food through which we get essential nutrients and energy.Plants help in cleaning the air so that we can breathe freshly all the time.
How do plants help us:
Plants give us oxygen. Oxygen is in the air we breathe. All living things need it.
Plants give us food. Many plants are good to eat. Vegetables are plants. Fruits, nuts, beans, and seeds come from plants.Plants give us shade. Trees are the largest plants. In the summer, trees are full of leaves.
Week 6 and seven together:
Did you know? Nature constantly refills the food cupboard by recycling nutrients from dead plants and
animals back into the soil. Nature’s cleanup crews are fungus, insects, mites (tiny
spiderlike animals), and bacteria (tiny life-forms). Earthworms, bacteria, and
other tiny living things in the soil chew up and digest dead plants. They turn all
those fallen leaves and brown stems back into minerals in the soil. Plants pull the
minerals up through their roots. That’s crazy!
week 3:
We have planted seeds and are observing what happens as it grows. Please see My Slide to check out my plants life cycle.
Living thing are always breathing. And can talk .plus can give birth to a child. Living things, they need food and water to survive. Also living things can also grow. They also can move.
Non living things can’t move. Plus they do not need food or water to survive . They can’t grow. And can’t move by themselves.
