“Guardians of the Earth”- Information Report.
Guardians of the Earth – Informational Report.
Intro:
On Earth, many people don’t even care about Earth at all but wouldn’t it be crazy to think no one wants to drink clean water or see birds in the sky? In my opinion, everyone should be a guardian of the earth. I strongly believe that everyone should take responsibility for the environment that surrounds us like trees, animals, plants, forests, birds, air, sea, lakes, streams, land, drinking water and so much more.
What are Guardians of the Earth?
In Aotearoa/New Zealand, Guardians of the Earth is called Kaitiakitanga. Guardians of the earth are the gifts that god has given us including the environment, our talents and other resources that we have. It even means that each and everyone should start to consider the environment. One of the main things to take care of is trees. Without trees, we would never be able to breathe because to breathe we need oxygen and we get it from the trees and some plants.
What will we need to do to become part of the Kaitiakitanga?
To become an Earth Guardian means to take responsibility for the environment that surrounds us. For example, Watering the plants that you have at home; planting as many plants/trees as you can at your place or in the forest close to you; feeding the right food to the right animals; throwing less rubbish on the floor so it doesn’t end up in the seas and damaging the sea mammals; encouraging recycling and waste management (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle).
- Air Pollution: There are Three main types of air pollution sources. The first one is the mobile source that comes for cars, buses, planes, trucks and trains, to stop air pollution coming from there is to try to use electric and eco-friendly verticals. The other sources are power plants, oil refineries and factories. To stop all of this we should try to use fewer things that include oil too much. The last one is Area sources, this happens with wood-burning fireplaces, to stop that we should all use heaters not fire because that even comes from natural sources.
- Precious paper: In every year more than 15 billion trees are cut down, and more than half of it is used for making paper. Some of the children use it as scrap paper for colouring, party decoration, and so much more things but think about the trees first. To stop using too much paper for the party decorations, we could even use magazines and the leftovers could be used as scrap paper for so many things.
- Less Resources Left: In the past, people used to take whatever they wanted without thinking. Now, we know we can’t do that anymore, one day our planet will run out of resources. That’s why we must try to eat less meat and seafood. It is not just if we all stop and become vegetarian, it is soon our water around the world will be not enough for the fish to survive in. Around the world, we eat 360 million tonnes of meat and 156 million tons of fish every year. To stop that we could all try to eat vegetarian or vegan meals. There are loads of meat free and plant-based recipes.
Why are Guardians of the Earth So important?
For more than a hundred years, every signal person protects their surroundings, environment and other resources. Without Mother Earth we human beings could not exist. Mother Earth provides us with water, clean air, food and shelter, materials and space for recreation. So all of us need to start cleaning our earth because its resources feed us and provide the materials for our way of life.Summary:
Our ownership is caring for the gifts that God has given to us, including the environment (planet: the earth, the sea, and the sky), our own personal talents and other resources. We are kaitiaki – guardians of the earth. Everyone’s honour is to save our ecosystems which make up the earth and are important for our survival and the well-being of future generations. If we all try to do a little bit and save lots of things. There will be a significant impact on the Earth and our environment. Our beautiful earth will be saved.

Rocket 🚀 Lab Vist
Today I am excited to share my recent experience of meeting the people from Rocket Lab. It was an incredible opportunity for Kahu children to learn about space. Kāhu had the chance to learn about how long it takes a Rocket to get to space. We were told it takes about 8 to 10 minutes to get to space from Earth. The next question was which type of petrol they used for rocket ships? They informed us that, they use Liquid Hydrogen in rockets. Rocket lab people also told us where they sent the rockets to space? It was in Mahia close to Gisborne or in Cape Reinga up North. The best part was they even told us what the next plan in the future for Rocket Lab was to send a rocket to Mars and discover more about Moon. In the end, all of the Kahu students had a chance to ask questions about space. Overall, it was an unforgettable time, and I feel grateful to have had the chance to meet such nice people from Rocket Lab.
Poem about Fly Away Home
Fly Away Home
The house was flying away like a hot air balloon.
My house flew so high that I could even see the moon.
Whoosh, when the pig saw my house flying it started to fly like Santa’s reindeer. People nearly died being shocked that stayed near.
When I woke up, I almost had a heart attack. It was scary like the Ghostbusters movie (fun fact). I would rather live in a normal home but in a flying house. I think only aliens could live like that, not humans or mouse.
I could hear so many noises like factory machine noises. There is nothing to do at flying home, there are no choices. I have no contact with humans like aliens don’t have with humans. The only thing I could do was go back to a normal house, that was the last solution.

All about New Zealand & Australia
Hi, my name is Gurman, today I am going to tell you some information about New Zealand & Australia and when you read this please tell me do you want to live in which country you will like to live in New Zealand or Australia.
First, about New Zealand, there is more than one type of kiwi I think you are thinking about the kiwi fruit it is not that, I meant the national animal because there are 2 types of kiwi. New Zealand has the world’s longest name for the hill Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanata-hu (that is so big). New Zealand has 3 national languages it is English, Māori and sings language but it is not the same as the UK and the last fact but the least, Auckland is surrounded by about 50 different volcanoes.
Time to tell you about, Kangaroos are an Australian national animal and Kangaroos can only exist in Australia. Australia is home to some of the dangerous species like spiders, snakes and blue ringe octopus, if it stings you will just be dead (it is that bad). As you all see in the news in 2019 (I think) bush fire happened because of climate change and it is very hot there.
I hope you like my fact about New Zealand and Australia.
