3D Life Cycles

in week 6 we wanted to do a monarch butterfly, we started by making the eggs and drawing  arrow also while copying and pasting. Next me and Mankaran K made the larvae and I accidentally made the larvae eye way too big. Then we made the cacoon, it was just a long green egg we couldn’t make it hollow and put a butterfly (it looked so bad). also we made that looked realistic  butterfly that was orange and yellowish,  and it looked pretty good.

The physical characterisitic of insects

we had to learn about the insects body parts and there was a assignment, we had to name the body parts and how they look. We had to learn about the abdomen, and the different parts where they breathe like the spiracles not from their mouths and noses like us. the difference between the cicada and weta, the cicada has wings and the weta has a way longer back then the cicada. The weta protects its self by waving their spiky hind legs to frighten, a animal or something bigger then theirselves. The cicada camoflaging themselves in many trees like the oak tree, and they can camoflauge in the grass and in sap. Caterpillars look like the weta and their spikes and the cicada looks like a house fly because of their wings. To know if the cicada has spiracles look next to their legs if there is any holes that means, there is spiracles in the cicada if there isnt any that means that the cicada does not have spiracles.
