Halloween                                           

Come on, why won’t this thing stay on! I’m going to be late for the Halloween disco and this is my first ever disco. My friends are probably going to go in without me and I will look like a total loner. As I walked in I saw my crush and my friends, what were they doing? “BOO!” I tried to scare one of them but… they stared at me in shock. “Wow, I didn’t expect you would come, however you look amazing!” One of my friends said, “Thanks, let’s go sit down,” I nervously said. 

The day before Halloween, I started carving pumpkins with my brother. I crept up behind him and tried to scare him but it just went wrong. I picked up the knife and started carving my pumpkin. I went for a basic design because I had leftover fake blood that I was going to put on the pumpkin. “I’m done, also, Candy corn was originally called Chicken Feed!” I shouted. “Whatever, I’m going inside to prepare my outfit. Good night.” My brother said while tiredly walking into the kitchen door.

“Trick or treat…” the little boy wheezed as he held his bag out. “Aw, what a cute zombie” I say as I put a handful of candies in his bag. “Did you know that Halloween was invented by Pope Gregory III back in the late 1800s?” I said while trying to distract him and secretly placing a plastic spider in his bag. “No miss, thank you. Bye.” He smiles and walks off. I’d love to see the look on his face when tips his candy out and sees a spider. 

I turned off the lights outside the balcony and jumped on the couch. I started to hear noises from outside but it wasn’t people talking. It sounded like knives clanging together, I made sure all the doors were shut and jumped back on the couch while watching my favourite TV show. I heard the kitchen door break. “No one’s home…  I should grab the secret knife”. I walk to the door and… I see him.
