The Lost Letter
*Knock Knock*
“What now?”, “Oh, good morning”.
“Hi, your mail from… 2002?”
“What?”
“Have a good day”.
I woke up to a sound of the birds chirping, and the sun gleaming through my curtains onto my eyes. It was the first day of the year but also the first day at a new school. “Skelly, I’m late!”, I then rushed to the bathroom to get ready. “Skelly! Stop barking, the neighbours have told me off too many times”. It was a pain to get my clothes on, especially when there’s no one to help me anymore. After all, everyone thought I was dead.
“I get it, I’m late. But stop barking!”, Skelly is my pet dog. She’s a whopping 110 KGS and one of the many rarest dogs in the world. Still doesn’t give her a point to keep barking at me. “Hey, Alexa. Call my Driver to 7 After Hours Street”.
*Ding Ding*
Finally, school is over and the emptiness of the world is all mine. The peace and quiet helps me think, especially since all those girls in school are chattering so much. “A letter? From… 2002?” I exclaimed loudly. “How is this possible?”.
