Sir Edmund Hillary was born in 1919 In his lifetime he accomplished a lot of goals a big one being climbing Mount Everest on may 1953 but didn’t stay up there for very long because the air was so thin it made it hard to breathe. this was not the only Goal he achieved another goal he a achieved was being the first person to go to the north and the South Pole. He also helped out with the community by helping them out like picking up rubbish beekeeping and things like that which helped the community. Sir Edmund Hillary’s wife was Mary rose and his daughter was Belinda Hillary but they both died in a plane crash. And in 2008 11 January To a heart attack.
