Anzac day poem

Beneath a dawn at Gallipoli’s edge,

Anzac courage etched a solemn pledge.

Brothers in arms, on a foreign shore,

They fought for freedom, evermore.

Red poppies bloom, a silent plea,

Lest we forget their bravery.

Sacrifice whispers on the breeze,

A nation’s heroes, finding peace.

We gather now, beneath the sun,

Their memory lives, the battle won.

Anzac spirit, forever strong,

Carried in hearts, where they belong.
