He grabbed the chisel while blowing a whistle

He grabbed the hammer while fixing his grammar

He took a star while playing guitar

And chiselled away while he threw it away

He kept on going so far so tar

My First Few Days In Kāhu

My first few days in kāhu have been fun i got to meet new people and meet new teachers being a kāhu student means a lot to me i got to play games and learn new things i’m a new year 7 and well this work is harder than year 6 but. I’m learning how to make a lunar new year lantern for the year of the dragon and also do some specialities like enviro.science.cooking.coding and so much more! this year has go to be fun. 🙂

i made a lunar new year lantern so then on the day of the lantern festival we can show other parents and ours to make them proud of our teamwork each lantern has a team of 3-4 people we first make a prototype then we start on the lantern the teachers will give us a limited amount of recourse so we don’t waste time.

I have learnt how to organise myself in PE it was so useful knowing i don’t know my whole class properly. In PE my group and i went and got in to first letter of our name order to months each challenge was hard but we got through it like it was nothing.

we’ve also learnt about the jobs and what they do i signed up for playground angels or wet day monitor if i get one of these jobs i’ll be there anytime. The jobs are very important to the school so we can look after the kids and others.

My favourite part of this year was my learning and PE along with the lantern making i had fun with friends thanks for reading.
