On Wednesday week 8 all the Kāhu students went to this awesome place called polyfest!we traveled there on a bus and separated into small groups. When we got there we sat down in our lines facing the stage and one person from each school got up and had a cool and funny dance off!! later than we got to see some police officers,Firemen and many more.We than got up back on our feet and headed off to the diversity stage were we saw these amazing traditional dances and talent from a lot of different people. We got to see Indian dances Philippines Chinese dances and many more!when it was our queue to leave we headed of to the Māori stage. It was cool but we didn’t really get a chance to witness it because we were up on the bleachers/stands and couldn’t really hear or see much.Later then we all got pretty tired and headed of back to the main stage. Then the lady closed us off with a lovely prayer. We then took a picture off the Gardens school students that came.Later than we went off our seperate ways and sat quietly waiting for the bus driver to drive us back to school. Some of us even slept in the bus and started snoring. But other than the visiting poleyfest was definitely worth it.
