For steam we have been working on a huge picture but with separate pieces for each class

Did you know that the famous singer brook Fraser is from New Zealand? Well she is her songs are very calm and fresh shes, also 41 years old she also has two daughters I drew a picture of her on sketches school Brook Fraser was born from Bernie Fraser and his wife Lynda in z Fiji. She started writing for magazines at the age of fifteen and was promoted to editor in 2002. She quit her job as an editor soon after her arrival in Auckland in  2002 to explore her music career. She then blew up over the internet and she started making concerts and a Fanpage and she has loads of people waiting to buy a ticket or even get a ticket! When she was 18 she signed a multi-album deal with Sony music.

This term we have been learning about famous New Zealand authors we have mostly been learning about lynley Dodd and also about her books we have been reading them and also we made actions about some of the parts and then we performed them at our school assembly in front of the parents we have been working on a epic project on CapCut with Malakai Isla, Isaac, Joseph it would play when we left the stage and went to go back and sit down and wait for the others to do there part in the assembly our group was called the snitzelvonkrum with Malakai,isaac,Joseph,armaan we spent days learning the actions but then we had to change a bit of the actions the author we are learning about lynley Dodd is 84 years old she was born on the 5th of July 1941 it was very fun learning about her and also what she did she made a lot of books over the years  we also learned

we also had our groups my group was called snitzel von krumm we had to preform on the stage and it was very scary and I was very nervous but I think we did good I saw a video of us doing it and I’m pretty sure we did amazing I really liked it and we tried so hard to make it perfect.

Today we learned about sir Edmund Hillary here are some fun facts about him Edmund Hillary was a beekeeper before he climb mount Everest.Edmund Hillary first wife died so he decided to married another one.Edmund built schools and hospitals after he climbed Mount Everest. Edmund and Neil Armstrong actually met together in the North Pole. Edmunds son is still alive to this day

Did you know Edmund Hillary once said It’s not the mountain we conquer it’s ourselves. He was born on the 20th of July 1919 he was the first person to climb Mount Everest. Here is a picture I made of him

This week in STEAM, we had a super cool activity where we became history detectives! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

In small groups, we were given a famous New Zealander to learn about. Some of us had Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Mount Everest! Others learned about Jean Batten, the amazing pilot who flew all the way across the world 🌍✈️. Some of us even explored the life of Ernest Rutherford, the scientist who helped discover atoms! ⚛️

In my group we had Malakai, Zachary, and Isaac We worked together to find important dates in their lives – like when they were born, when they did something amazing, and when they changed the world. We put all our facts in order to make a giant timeline on a big sheet of paper. It was like building a story of their life!

We turned our paper timelines into awesome digital timelines on Canva. We added pictures, and fun colours to make them pop! 💻🎨

For steam this Term we have been learning about how New Zealand makes an impact on the world. With miss Siau we made famous nz landmarks and places. Me, Joseph, Isaac, and Malakai built famous nz land marks In Minecraft. We all worked hard and the end result was an amazing Aotearoa world landscape. this is our sky tower
1 What NZ identity features did we include? We made native NZ plants and animals.
2 What did I learn about Aotearoa during this project? We have a very specical country which we must protect.
3 What digital skills did I use? Most of these things had and needed a circular shape which is pretty hard to do in minecraft.
4 What would I do differently next time? Probaly foucs on one thing at a time and then move on to the next thing once it looks good.
How well did we work
I think we did great considering the time we had. I’m proud we could build all this in just two weeks.

Zachary was born in New Zealand in 2015 at middle-more hospital on the 15th of June at 11:57pm. He then went to
Alfriston kindergarten where he met Isaac Trood who was his first friend they played a lot when they where kids they then went to school called the garden school also with Isaac they also are friends to this day and they also go to each others houses for play dates  a lot Of the time Zachary has glasses now he also has more friends called James, Jair,  Gurprem, Daniel,  Anthony, Angelo, Joseph, Leo, Amer, Diyon, Lorcan, Aadi, Ryan, Dario, Quincy, Brooklyn Kanav, and a lot more he loves to draw and to make Lego  he is also very smart and good at writing math and reading and spelling he also loves to do science
