VR Blog

On Thursday in the morning I was just sitting down but then Mrs Davies said to her literacy group to go to the hall for a VR show. When me and my literacy group and there were these vr sets on the floor there were enough vr sets for everyone in my group we all sat down there were these two girls and their name was Alice and Grace. Before we put our vr sets on they showed us sir peter blake and they asked us if we knew who sir peter blake was and everyone said they wrote a blog about him. Alice told us to put our vr on the loading screen. It was cool. There were loads of fish surrounding me. The fish didn’t move though because it was a loading screen. Then Alice told us that she was going to take us under water the and we saw Lots of fish they were moving and you could hear what it sounds like in the ocean but i couldn’t really hear the ocean sounds because everyone was loud and I saw sharks, whales and dolphins it was so cool then Alice told us to take our vr set off and she tell us were she will take us next.

We put our vr set on and I saw the loading screen but then I was floating in the air while seeing a volcano. Then we saw birds. It looked so real I think the birds were seagulls.but then we went back under water and saw sting rays. When I looked up I saw a stingray’s eyes and mouth and I saw snapper and kina. I learnt that kina can actually move around the rocks and eat the seaweed. The reason why fish are not where kina is. It’s because there would not be enough oxygen for the fish because seaweed gives sea animals air just like trees give us oxygen but it’s just a little different because seaweed gives sea animals air and trees give humans air. I saw more islands and at the end we got a bonus video and the last video was my favorite. It was a stingray that gives you a high five and I was sad that I had to leave because it was so fun.
