Tōtara Park

Tōtara park is named after a tree called Tōtara park. Tōtara park is packed with greenery. Tōtara park is a jungle it has lots of rivers. Tōtara park is filled with wild life. Tōtara park is 216 hectare big. It has lots of bike tracks and playgrounds in it.

Botanical Gardens

Botanical gardens Is a really nice place where you can chill/have a picnic with your family there. Botanical gardens has lots of plants and different areas you can visit. It even has lakes and I saw some ducks in them. Botanical gardens also has a cafe which is pretty cool. I visited the edible garden there as well but I didn’t eat anything though.

Connection To Kaitiakitanga

Both of them are nature places where people can relax. They both have lots of plants and trees so overall there both very good places.

 

 

 

Peter Jackson is famous for making movies specifically lord of the rings and the hobbit. Did you know that Peter Jackson was born in New Zealand and he was raised in pukerwa bay? He was born in 1961 October 31st and when he was 8 years old he started making his first short films and he made his first movie in 1987 (Bad Taste). In 2005 peter Jackson made King Kong he also made a lot of other movies like I said in the beginning The Hobbit and Lord of the rings.

In Wellington Peter Jackson got knighted (28th April 2012) and on November 2021 Peter Jackson became a billionaire. And by 2024 Peter Jackson had 1.5 billion USD he is the highest profile kiwi billionaire. In 20th of December 2001 he made the first lord of the rings movie.

In 2002 and 2003 he made the 2nd lord of the rings movie and in 2012-2014 he made the hobbit. On 20th of march 2011 he started filming the hobbit it took Peter Jackson 370 days to film the hobbit and it took 266 days to finish filming the hobbit.

And while Peter Jackson was filming his movies he got a lot of awards on the way (he got 30 rewards). So Peter Jackson had made 1.5 billion USD dollars he has made famous movies like lord of the rings  King Kong and the hobbit. So Peter Jackson has had a long and fun journey from making short films to making famous movies and getting a lot of awards and now he is 62 years old so peter Jackson had an accomplished career.

I am sitting on the beach the bird starts to                     

fly then it dived but it survived it started to                      

cry it tried to fly again but it got caught                          

It tried to fly again then it got stuck                               

                         

It got up and it was a bit healed 

but it fell and got cut again so it 

rested until it was healed then it flew

 

again but it didn’t get cut 

It got big like a dinosaur but it was 

dreaming when it woke up it still 

wasn’t healed so because it knows 

that it had to sleep again to get healed

and had another dream this dream was extreme

It was a dinosaur it was fit and the biggest dinosaur 

but it didn’t wake up again then he was  

still asleep it didn’t wake up until it heard a 

phone alarm in his dream and when he woke up 

It could fly again.

My first days of kāhu was ok. I got to see my friends again and I also got to see my other friend who left the school that made me a bit more happy. But it was pretty fun to play with my friends again that’s pretty much all of the stuff I did  the end.
