We all know Jean Batten, Sir Edmund Hillary and Ernest Rutherford. Well, I will tell you a little about them and what we learnt about them.
Jean Batten flew across the world from England to New Zealand breaking the world record at the time.
We made a map of where she flew to and a paper airplane.
Sir Edmund Hillary was the first person to climb Mount Everest. We made an item to help climb Mount Everest.
And finally, Ernest Rutherford was the first person to split the atom (they call him the father of nuclear physics). We named the part of the atom and coloured it in.
Last week during steam me Aarav Deontay made a timeline about Edmund Hillary
we made a big timeline about Edmund and also wrote facts other people wroth about other New Zealanders but I think our one was the the best because he was one of the 2 first people to reach Mount Everest!

Viviparous- Give birth to live young.
Ovoviviparous – Once the egg hatches, it remains inside the mother for a period of time
