Māori language week is a traditional week Māori Language Day is September 14 and it ends on September 18 in Māori language week at the gardens school we celebrate it in many ways and we practice the te Mano rewa.
There are also many different thing some people make poster or necklaces or they do a dance we can also use words like
Kia ora – Hello.
Kapai – Good.
Whare – House.
Kai – Food.
Whanau – Family.
Puku – Tummy.
Korero – Talk, speak, have a conversation.
Moe – Sleep.
We can ask so Celebrate by learning new words or dance in our school we put hidden questions and have ti find them and solve. Them each day we get a new one
