Introduction

Sir Peter Jackson is a famous movie director of New Zealand. He’s famous for the movies, Hobbit, King Kong, Lord of Rings and much more. Jackson has won a number awards and developed his love for movies at a young age.

 

Early life
Sir Peter Jackson was born on 31 October 1961 in Wellington, Pakura Bay. He studied in Kapiti college and dropped out at the age at the age of 17, therefore he has still achieved a lot in life. He got inspired for making movies by adventures he had at his home which he called adventure playground. Jackson used to make short films with his friends and specialised Splat stick with no formal training.

Sir Peter Jackson has achieved a lot in his life. He has won several awards for all Lord of rings including best picture director and best adapted screenplay. His other awards  include BAFTAs, a golden globe, 2 prime time Emmy awards and 4 Saturn awards among others.
