Bringing My Stop Motion Movie to Life: Designing Characters and Backgrounds

This week I’ve been busy designing characters and backgrounds for my stop motion movie using the papers! I’m excited to share how my designs are coming together and reflect on the process so far. Here’s a look at my progress and the choices I made.

 

I used paper to draw and design them. And I used scissors to cut, use pencils to draw and use colour pencils to colour it in.

 

And I am happy with my ideas and drawing.

 

My challenge was to cut out all the pieces of papers.

Kaitiakitanga – STEAM Week one Term 4

What is Kaitiakitanga?

Kaitiakitanga are Guardians of the Earth.

 

Why is it important?

It is really important because the Earth need water to survive and Kaitiakitanga are Guardians of the Earth.

 

How will you show Kaitiakitanga?

We could not throw the rubbish everywhere and don’t waste our water!

During steam, we learned about Kaitiakitanga. So we drew about Kaitiakitanga.

1. What could be some factors caused extreme weather?

It’s because the extreme heat gets hotter.

2. Could you related it to water cycle?

Yes. Because water is related to weather.

It went downhill, because the platform was slanted.
First, Miss Wang poured the hot water. So me and Olivia tried to stop the spilling water.

What do I know about the water cycle?

I know that the water cycle never ends.

There is 4 steps in the water cycle.

There is evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.

What do I want to know about water cycle?

I want to know how the water cycle happens.
