Introduction

Have you ever heard of J. R. R. Tolkien. Because if you haven’t I’ll tell you about him. J. R. R. Tolkien is the author of the Hobbit book. On January 3rd 1892 one the greatest authors of all time was born.

Achievements

J. R. R. Tolkien made exactly 21 movies all together. Also he has won 34 awards, along with that he sold 100 million copies of his book the hobbit, which made him £190,577 which is equivalent to £2,911,00 which would make him a multimillionaire. That is a very hard goal to achieve, in NZD that would be $514,728.84 which is a lot of money.

Early life

J. R. R. Tolkien’s family was in poverty during his upbringing, eventually moving to a place named Moseley, a suburb of Birmingham which is north west of Sare hole. Later on in life when he was around 12, J. R. R. Tolkien’s mother had passed away so he and his brother were made wards of a catholic priest.

Late life

As J. R. R. Tolkien grew older so did his popularity/public attention. One of his many friends C. S. Lewis nominated him for the Nobel prize. Also the sales of his book got so high he regretted not choosing early retirement, fun fact J. R. R. Tolkien grew so popular he had to take his phone number out of the public telephone directory.

He died on second of September 1973; he was in fact adopted; he had no pets; he died from a bleeding ulcer and a chest infection; his wife’s name was Edith Tolkien; his mum and dad was Maybel Tolkien and Arthur Tolkien; his brother‘s name was Arthur Reuel Tolkien; his kids names were Christopher Tolkien; Michal Tolkien; Priscilla Reuel Tolkien; John Francis Tolkien.

Conclusion

In conclusion JR token is a great man with many achievements and has done a lot like fight in war, get rich and have a family and he has a great family and went from an underdog on to on top of the world.

Once upon a time there was a boy with a bicycle and he had a dream and his dream was to see the Northern lights. 

 The boys mother called out to him “sweetie tea is ready” he knew his mum had a heart of gold and she loved him but if he wanted to see the northern lights he has to go now it was the only time he could before school started again so he tied Sheets together and slowly crept out the driveway he looked up and saw that the clouds were grey as grey ashes.

 It looked like it was about to rain cats and dogs, it looked like it was going to form a cyclone as big as a country.

 As he rode away from the house there was a small spit so he wasn’t worried but the longer he rode the more it rained and before he knew it he was soaking wet and then he heard thunder.

 He thought to himself maybe this is a bad idea but he just got more determined to see the northern lights.

 As he got closer he slowly started to see them more and more until he saw it the Northern Lights then he started to write he wrote “the Northern Lights are as beautiful as the goddess of beauty” then he took a picture of the Northern Lights then he then he was very he stayed there for nights he loved it there but I knew he had to leave soon 2 days later he left that noon he said “good bye Northern Lights” and with a small whisper the northern lights said goodbye on the way back he was in many fights with squirrels possums and many other predators

This is what I did in 1 day during school holidays. First I woke up at my cousin’s house which is in Te Awamutu. I stayed there for most of the holidays. As I got up I was greeted with my cousin playing my ps5. We just stared at each other for about 5 minutes then I laid back down. Then 20 minutes later I got up and had a shower for 5 minutes then when I was changed my uncle made breakfast for me and my cousins. After I was finished I washed my dish then brushed my teeth. 

Then i went to the room I was staying in because I wanted to play on my game so I turned on my ps5 and played god of war ragnarok for 2 hours later on I got asked by my cousin if I wanted to go to the shop so I put my jumper and we started walking. As we were walking my cousin said he knows a shortcut but we had to run through the school so we ran through the school because it was getting dark and we wanted to get back as soon as possible. When I got back I took off my shoes and went into the room I was staying in.

When in my room I started to play my game as I played I noticed that it was just me and my cousins so we decided to call my uncle to see we’re he was but my uncle took my older cousins phone so we had no way to call him. So we went to my uncle’s room to find his phone. When we walked I saw a baby’s crib, a bed, some drawers, and his wardrobe. But we couldn’t find his phone so we went to the home phone and dialled my uncle’s number and he answered. It turned out he was staying at his friend’s house because he was too tired to drive back. So we decided to just leave it. Later on all of us decided to play spotlight outside.

When we went outside we wanted to play around the outside of the house but then we got the idea to play on the field. It was super dark and there was only the flashlight from my older cousin’s phone. It was not super bright but it was bright enough. Then we did rock paper scissors and it was my older cousin that was in. Before we ran my cousin yelled out don’t go into the trees but that was the best spot so me and my cousin decided to stay on the outline of the trees. While we were running on the edge of the trees we saw a medium size bush so we jumped in while we were waiting my cousin continued to go on and on how the trees were the best place to hide as he talked we noticed that my older cousin was getting closer so my younger cousin crept over to the trees and ran in after he disappeared into the trees i got found by my cousin but then I told him what my younger cousin did and now we had to find him we yelled out his name and no answer we said we give up it didn’t work so we just started to walk away and then he came running out so we went back inside. When we got back inside I had a quick snack and went to bed.

This one time Timmy and Justin were walking down the street near the sea as they got closer and closer they saw a fish stuck in some plastic. It was trying its hardest to get out but nothing would work and it gave up. Timmy tried to get it unstuck but it swam away so Timmy put his hand under the water and stood there waiting for it to trust him. But it didn’t come to him so he took his hand out of the water and they walked off and 10 minutes later they came back to the same spot they saw the fish again so he put his hand in again.

This time the fish trusted him a bit more it swam closer and closer but it wasn’t close enough they were a bit disappointed but. Timmy told Justin to try so he did. It got a bit more closer but still it wasn’t enough so they just left the next day they went back this was the day they help the fish they brought food to the doc then they threw some into the sea and then it came closer to almost the reach of the two boys and then they fell into the water and the fish got away. So they just left and so did they just sat down and went on their phones.

Later they saw the fish again. They did not try it got away to many times so they gave up and just went home but they tried again because they did not want to live with the fact that it got away.

Have you heard of the magical fire breathing monkey? He is a hybrid of 3 animals. First is the monkey then it is a gorilla and a dragon all of them make one small but strong fire breathing creature. The first thing we will talk about is its habitat. It lives in a deep dark cave it is said to be 1 in a 1000000 to find the cave. Then it is another 1 in 5000000. They like to sleep in the day and come out at night so they don’t get seen. That is why there are only 1 seen in the whole world. I have heard that you can find 1 out at day well it is looking for food

The fire breathing monkey has abilities out of this world. The first ability is that it can fly. That is pretty normal but it can also breathe in fire and that will power him up to where he gets more abilities. His strongest ability is the fire fist where he channels all  his fire Energy into his fist and punches whatever he is fighting. His biggest opponent was an ice dragon. He won that fight but that is the day all of them disappeared. Before it disappeared it’s diet was a variety of different meats and berries that is why they would sometimes go out of the cave in the day to get food.

They were very nice animals but if they got attacked they would get very ferocious and aggressive. They would sometimes burn people alive if they continued to attack. They are very cute creatures. They had big BD eyes and they were very fluffy but on their face they had some scales. If they got sick they would need fire not from them it would need to be from a natural source of fire they would usually get sick from water. Water is highly poisonous for them if they touch it they will get sick.

If you did happen to see one which is very rare you should stay calm they will freak out very drastically if you do don’t get near them let them come to you if they do freak out you should run as fast and as far as you can don’t let them catch up to you because if you do you will most likely be dead never go to a desert in California that is were they originated from so you are mostly to find one out there they are very deadly if you freak out or attack them they will fight back so don’t go near them. If you could turn you and your family into a creature what would it be.

Have you ever Heard about Athletic’s day? If you have not you should continue reading this story. Athletic day is a day of stressfulness. Competitiveness is very challenging, exhausting and nervousness. Yesterday was our athletic day and it was very Exhausting when we first got there. The year 8s ran the 1500m race and they were very fast.

After a bit it was my turn to run. My first race was the 400m race. I don’t know what I came in that race but it was very challenging. I ran out of breath most of the way there. For some reason 30 minutes felt like 10 seconds I couldn’t run so I didn’t go to my 2nd race. I stayed back and drank some water and watched the other people race. Moments later I got a drink from the little shop there. It was very good. 

Then all my friends came back from their race and we all sat together and it was very funny. I brought another fizzy drink and shook it and then opened it. It was everywhere and it got all over everyone I ran and nobody caught me and after all that I went down and watched everyone race it got boring so I went back up they were a bit more mad but it was ok.

Later on after that I went to my final sport it was discus I throw it 12m far and I continued to throw it people slowly came to the sport and the Furthest it went was 22m one of my friends throw that and got the Record of the school and we just started to play games and mess around then after a bit it was time for the finals and my one of my friends won the reward then the teacher relay was on and kawhai won that and they won the whole thing

My holiday was very cool the night we left. Monday we went to the city for a holiday. The first day we went there it was night time. We ordered Lasagna for dinner the next day we went out and got some drinks then we went back and went for a swim and went in the hot tub. There were lots of bubbles, then I dried myself then went to the sauna. I started to sweat so hard it got too hot then I left.

After all that we went back up to the room we moved to a bigger room because it was too small then we got breakfast. And we went to buy some new clothes and shoes. I got an outfit and some extra Shorts and shoes. I got air max 1’s. And a hat then we went to get some food. After a while we all started to get hungry again so we went to the sky tower after a quick stop at the hotel to get changed.

It was very yummy. We got dessert and left. It was starting to get dark so we went back to the hotel and watched a movie and got some snacks from room service. I got some chicken and cheese cake and a coke then we went to bed. The next day I woke up and we were all packing our stuff to go home. I didn’t really want to go home because it was too cool here but we went anyway.

The drive home was not bad we got some food i played on my iPad and when we got back a few people were there and that day my dad gave me some money I still have it I’m going to save it till my birthday it is in 30 days I hope I can get some more money if you could stay anywhere where would it be?.

Have you ever planted a tree before? I have and I got very dirty that day. It was cool   in the morning when our bus arrived. The place we went to was Kimber Road, Bombay. The owner’s names were Jocelyn, Mark and Rosie. That day we planted over 600 trees. It was very hard.

When we got there the lady that started all this was already there so we went out to the place that we were going to be planting she showed us how we should be planting the trees so after that we all got a shovel those who didn’t get a shovel had  to pair up with somebody with a shovel. Throughout the day I was feeling good because we had planted lots and lots of trees. 

After we were done they brought out lunch for us they brought out Sausages chicken nuggets different types of bread and drinks and Hashbrowns and chips and raps it was very good when everyone was done eating they brought cake leamington and bread with Nutella and there was Milo.

The bus was ok. There was lots of room and lots of seats. the experience that I had was great the only reason I did it was because I wanted to try something new if you could choose where you would like to plant where would you like.
