Introduction

Sir Peter Jackson made the movies The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, and plenty more movies. The person who wrote those Movie/Books was J.R.R Tolkien,. But Sir Peter Jackson was the one who read the books but changed the plot for The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. Sir Peter Jackson mostly famous for his movie the Lord of the Rings.

Sir Peter Jackson’s Early Life 

He was born in New Zealand, at Pukerua Bay, in Porirua. And he went to college at Kapiti College. He has no brothers or sisters… But he lived a pretty happy life.

Sir Peter Jackson has two children, Billy and Kate. Billy was born in 1995. While Kate was one year later than her older brother in 1996. Also Sir Peter Jackson has a wife called, Fran Walsh. She was born in 1956, so she’s about 65 years old. Sir Peter Jackson was born in 1961 so that makes him 62 years old. Sir Peter Jackson’s father and mother is called Willian Jackson and Joan Ruck.

Sir Peter Jackson The Hobbit Set 

The Hobbit was filmed in New Zealand, at Nelson Tasman and you could visit the hobbit set today but it will set you back about $100. Sir Peter Jackson wanted to film the Hobbit because he watch the animated film of of the Hobbit and he loved it so much! That’s why he wanted to film the hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. While Sir Peter Jackson was filming The Hobbit he felt “On top” of the production.

Sir Peter Jackson Knighted 

Why did Sir Peter Jackson get knighted? Well, he got knighted from his kiwi industry, his industry is worth 1.5 million US dollars, and produces 3.5 billion dollars yearly. Sir Peter Jackson got knighted from Anand Satyanand. When and where? You see.. he got knighted in 2010 in NZ at Wellington now you know: when, who ,why and where.
