Lynley Dodd is a famous New Zealand author and writer. She started writing books in the mid-1970s and had wrote more then 30 books in 2025 and she is planning to write more books in the future. Her first book was the Nickel Nackle, and her most famous characters are Hairy Maclary, Scarface claw, Schnitzel von Krumm and Slinky Malinki, and she is most famous for creating and illustrating the Hairy Maclary and friends series of children’s book. She is also 84 years old. And she was born in July 5 1941 in Rotorua and now lives in Tauranga.
