On Thursday 24 November, there was a science fair at school. We went to check it out. There we saw lots of different things like cardboard houses, lava lamps, volcanos, first aid, fibre and fabric, preserving food and making butter in a jar.

Cardboard houses 

We saw some cardboard houses. They were really cool. Their houses had nice designs. We saw that they had toilet paper as insulation and glued it together. They had to cut out and drawed a template, first on the ipads then had to measure them. Then they started building. We took a look at them and we were interested.

Volcanoes from the Kahu’s

At the science fair there were volcanoes, not real volcanoes but made with wood, newspaper and glue. They looked really cool. They had really nice details, the volcanos that the kahu’s made were all New Zealand volcanoes. At the science fair there was a board which they had written. On Friday 25 November there would be an explosion for one  of the volcanoes. It seemed really cool and fun for everyone when they heard the news from the Kahu students.

Preserving food

When we saw the preserved food like cucumbers, lemon, apples, marmalde and eggs. They were really nice. At their preserving section we saw some recipes about how to make them and what are the ingrients of the preserved things. Even some of the food that they were preserving in STEAM was on sale so that people could tell how it tasted and some parent’s tasted and said “it was really nice”. Whatever they were preserving in their STEAM group can last a really long time for like 3-12 months and it would still be fresh and yummy. 

Magnetic fishing

Next we saw magnetic fish which the pukeko class made. They were really fun to play with. Everyone needed to have a turn to get a fish, whoever got the most fish in the bucket wins. And lots of people loved playing this game.

On Friday it was mufti day. It was a really fun day for me because it was mufti. In the afternoon when I was playing tag with my friend I was running backwards and even a boy was running backwards we both bumped into each other and I fell on the concrete it hurted. In my left arm I felt it was broken so I felt so sad. So then my friend called the teacher for help and the teacher told my friend that she has to take me to the office. When we went to the office my friend said that she fell down and hearted her arm and then the office lady gave me an ice pack to put on my arm. I felt little bit better by the ice pack but my left arm still hearted a lot so then the office lady ringed my mum and said that I got hearted and next my mum ringed ours neighbours and said “  that Kanishka has hurted her arm can you go and get her please and my neighbours said “ sure and they came to the school to pick me up. The office lady told me to take an x-ray for my arm. 

Next I went to my house and my mum came to me and gave me some heat with a bottle of water. She asked me how it happened. So then I told her how it happened and then she said” to me that we will go to the doctors after your dad comes after work. So when my dad came we went to the doctors and the doctor told me to take an ezra. So we went to the Ezra place and got it done and the person said “ that I had a broken arm. I was really upset. Then after the ezra we went back to the doctor and the doctor said that you need to get a cast on your arm so I got a cast on my broken arm. After 2 weeks we had to go back to the Ezra place to see my arm was getting better. And next he said the cast is not put in right so then we went to the doctor and the doctor said “that you guys need to go to Middlemore because they will help you. So then we went to  Middlemore.

So when we went to Middelmore they told us to wait for 10 minutes. Then we waited and then a doctor came and said to sit in this room to wait for the nurse. After 15 minutes the nurse came and cuted my cast off and next another nurse came and she said to my parents that we have to put some injections to find her nuse so finally they found my nuse and said to me that we have to do an operation for your arm. So a really kind doctor made me feel a little bit. Then I went to the operation room and the nurse and doctors gave me an injection which made me go to sleep. I felt really dizzy and after I felt dizzy I went to sleep. Then after 1 hour I woke up and I saw lots of people around me and I saw my arm in a new cast. After that a nurse came and she gave me a really yummy cold ice cream to eat so that I don’t vomit but I did not really like eating the ice cream. After all that, my family and I went back home. The nurse gave me a cup if I vomited in the car.

Conclusion 

After I went home I felt that I should  say thankyou to all the doctors who really helped me and thank you for making me feel better when I was having an operation on my arm and thank you for giving me an ice cream after my operation.

A new creature that no one can believe that exist in the world is pandile that is mixed

With a crocodile and a panda!

Where do they live?

 A Pandile is a really cool animal that lives in Afrachina where it is really hot and were there aren’t  really many animals that can live but Pandile is an animal that likes hot places. most Pandiles live in the central native where they can have all the things they want like food, treats and other things too. And some Pandiles even like to stay in the water when it is hot and some like to stay outside.

What is their diet?

Most Pandiles are really heavy because they have a really nice diet. The Pandiles can eat everything like meat, fish, beef, chicken, and other things too. These kinds of food makes them really heavy and fat but it is actually good for them and their body so that they can stay healthy and fit to play with their friends. Even some Pandlies are really weak but they still stay fit.

What Pandiles like?

Lots of Pandiles love to swim in the water with their friends and like to play with them. Most of them like to prank the others and annoy them by pushing them by their tail and the other one who gets  pushed in the water pushes the one who pushed him. And most Pandiles love to eat beef because it is their most favourite food that they think is a treat. They like to chat with their friends by yelling really loud and the other one even yells out and then they both understand what he ment.

What is their weakness?

Pandiles have lots of weaknesses that not many people  now. One of the  weaknesses is that they are really scared of the bears because they are really big and they have really big nails on their feets. There second weakness is that they are scared to die because they really are possessive about their body and there third one is that they are scared of loud sounds that sometimes come in the night.

Conclusion

I think that Pandiles are really cute and they are really smart because they can talk by shouting at each other and they like to play with each other by pushing each other.
