The Alarm has ringed and it was 5:00 Am. It was the day to go to school after 12 weeks, after my incredible holiday to India 🇮🇳. My name is Kanishka and I am an year 8. I study at The Gardens School. It was my first day of becoming an year 8 student, I had woken up really early and had an bath straight away. After having an quick bath I  started dressing up for school and make my breakfast.

After getting ready and packing all my stuff I jumped into the car and took off to school I was extremely excited to meet my friends. When we reached to school we had to go straight to our assembly hall where we will meet our teachers and friends. Everyone had settled down and our principal Mrs Folwer allowed the year 7/8 to go first in our classes.

The year 7/8 sat outside where our teacher’s announced which class we are in and, which teacher we had. My teachers name was Mrs Van Tonder. She is a really kind and generous teacher. After meeting our teacher we all started naming our stationary which I didn’t had cause it didn’t arrive early enough. But I asked my teacher and she said it was okay and I could help someone else in naming their stationary. Besides that it was a really fun and happy day.
