Acrostic poems are poems that have lots of ways to write it. For example: you can write a word going down in capitale and bold letters and write sentences next to it. The first word uses the first letter as the first letter of the word. You can also do it with the word spelling down at the end of a sentence. You can do it with a word before it, and you can do it spelling the alphabet down and a theme with the sentences using the first letter. Nothing has to rhyme but can if you want it to.
Here is my acrostic poem:
Fantastic fireworks in the sky,
Ignited, incredible explosions light up the night,
Round bursts of light send colourful sparks into the evening,
Exited people watch the sky,
Wonderful bursts make people watching smile,
Outstanding and what seems like one million fireworks make pets want to hide,
Rainbow sparks fade into the darkness,
Kids run around with sparklers in their hands
So much fun is in the air, fireworks make the night extremely enjoyable.
