BLAKE
We strode in the hall and saw some VR sets. As soon as our eyes spotted it we got all hyped up. I jumped in excitement and raced there. I was the first person to sit next to a VR set. It had the name BLAKE on the top of it.
That was the name of the company that was going to teach and play videos for us today.
There was this instructor that welcomed us to some sort of class.
With our instructor we held the power button and put the VR on it was like my over delighted button.
We got things started with a small lesson about Sir Peter Blakeand learnt a few things. He was a New Zealand prodigy and a lovely man. He sailed around the world5 times with other whitebread around the world racers.
He also went on the Stienlager, Black Magic and His own boat Sea Master. He won New Zealand the America’s Cup[ the biggest sailing trophy} twice
And achieved much, much more.
He loved sailing and being an environmentalist but he saw less and less fish and sea animals so he decided to go to antarctica and show the world
Why there were less fish and to pursue people to stop polluting. He went to the Amazon River to record more pollution but … Pirates attacked and Peter tried to save his crew but he got fired on and unfortunately Died.
We put our VR on and saw a bunch of blue fish. We must have looked like idiots. We saw goat Island from above then we went down to the water and saw how healthy it is. We could see up to 25 metres high, wide and 360 degrees . We saw sea sponges, stingrays, sea urchins, sea lions and more.
It was so healthy and beautiful. I fell in love with the sea and all the animals. I went to go see fish and I also saw White Island and it was nice too. We explored more unhealthy spots where sea urchins ruled.
We had fun and thanked the instructor for everything
