VROOM! The bus took off. I was on the bus with my group and my friends. We had a fantastic little chat about Ambury farm. We were so excited and as soon as the bus stopped we leaped out of our seats like a leopard . Meheheheheheh! We saw the sheep in their rolling paddock .
We arrived and had a stunningly good morning tea. I started to play with my friends at a lot of different games. We got separated in our groups; I was with Sahib and I was surprised that Ambury farm had small classes like the ones we did.
We went to learn about fabrics and where they came from. We learnt how to tell if the fabric was man made or natural. Then we did a little game where you had to match the fabric with the animal. We left and said thank you for the interesting class.
We went to see the sheep shearing. I felt super nervous and ready at the same time. The instructor told us it was ram and they were powerful and dangerous. We saw the people who were sharing and they looked like proper athletes. It felt like I got tickets to the WWE and it felt exciting and creepy.
We finally got to do some felting and we had to use three colours: orange , purple and blue. We had to mix a lot of stuff together and rubbed for hours
[ just a joke]. We finished our masterpiece. Then we learnt how to do some string.
After lunch we had a very long walk around the farm and found scary geese Terrifying turkeys and freaky chicken. We saw a lost chunky black pig and some piglets. We cruised around horses, sheep, cows and more.
We came back and thanked everyone and went on the bus. We all said “BBBBBBBYYYYYYEEEEEEEE” the bus went Vroom!
Cows go moo
We go feed
I like the zoo
And cows like the weed
We go play
Cows like to stay
We end the day, with a hooray.
