ACROSTIC POEMS.

(this is an example of the acrostic poem I recently wrote!)

Sun has risen… its time for summer!

Under an umbrella to hide from the summer.

Melts my ice-cream..OH-NO!!!

My skin is heating up like a sausage on a hot pan.

Even in my home!! its not as cold on the inside..

Racing to the water bottle…grabbing it desperately. whoever grabs it first, is extremely lucky.

you see the fact the my  poem spells the word summer down across to poem. which is the reasoning it has the word ‘across’ in it! (without the other S…) An acrostic poem doesn’t need to rhyme. the acrostic poem only is focused on words. for example, a cinquian poem and many much more I’ve probably never heard of in my 10 years of living on planet earth..anyways! How you write it down will determine the topic of the poem you’ve made. Like my poem, you can see my placement of wording has to do with the season summer. Kind of like a type of theme!
