Shark Bait

Shark bait

 

I was swimming in the deep ocean, looking for food, but I couldn’t find any. I swam higher, while I was swimming, suddenly a massive shadow appeared over me, and it turned dark, so I just stayed low. I didn’t know what it could be, it could have been dangerous, or just another person hiding in a cage under the water trying to intimidate me and other sharks.

 

I saw one of my friends swimming up to the dark shadow, I couldn’t  imagine what would happen next. I swam around looking up wondering if he’s going to eat the shark bait. I saw him swimming up and.. the shadow sped off, so luckily my friend didn’t eat the shark bait. 

 

I saw something or someone floating in the water, I was worried, I swam up to the remains then I saw it was a baby shark, all its fins were cut off and the baby shark was sinking, I felt sickened. 

 

I tried to help the baby but it was too late, I swam away, and then I saw another dark shadow, and I didn’t want to investigate. I had a weird gut feeling, so I went up closer then I realised that it wasn’t a bad person, it was someone trying to save sea animals. They weren’t catching fish, or dumping sharks, they were helping!
