What Is Kaitiakitanga:

KAITIAKITANGA is taking care of the environment and looking after are plants .🪴

In the Gardens school Kaitiakitanga is a key to our learning it shows us to care about our world 🌍 and how important earth is.

How My World Shows Kaitiakitanga:

1. My world shows by asking Kaitiakitanga questions about Kaitiakitanga.

2. Once you get a question correct there is a chest that gives you an emerald which you can trade for tree saplings to grow.

How My Game Shows About Kaitiakitanga:

My game shows Kaitiakitanga by letting you trade for different types plants and let you grow the stuff that you bought from the villagers.

It also shows Kaitiakitanga because of the green-house and environmental place.

What i have learnt about Kaitiakitanga:

I have learnt a lot about Kaitiakitanga like life cycles of insects, I have also learnt about the water cycle of how it rains.

 

 

 

    How to build a world:

Building a world Is hard but use these steps to improve your builds. First create a creative world then open the world and get blocks to make  whatever you desire and the third thing is build your world.

Tips:

Use these tips to level up your builds.

1. Firstly use blocks that stand out and that are visible for a distance.

2. Make your buildings high and tall like as tall as 3 story house/building.

3. Make your buildings wide like a stadium. 🏟️

Canva is a app that lets you design posters and documents for anything you like. You can also create videos.

In week 1 for steam we focused on our planing and mapping out the map for the server.

Storyline:

My games storyline is about a bully named Baxter who try’s to take over Kaitiakitanga and your the only option to stop him from taking over our world .🌎

Name of game: Saviour of Kaitiakitanga

Rules: no hacking, no trolling, no bullying.

In week 5 for STEAM we made a 3d life cycle about insects that we chose. Mostly people chose butterflies, different species of ants, and much more insects. Well me and my buddy Gurprem chose a  a Monarch butterfly, whose population declined by 80% in the last 20 years but the most fascinating thing about them is that they move from Canada to Mexico which is very far. Monarch butterflies start off as a caterpillar then they go into their second stage called a larvae. After all of those days the Monarch butterfly turns into a cocoon also known as a chrysalis. After a month of staying still they turn into a monarch butterfly.

In steam for week 2 we learned about five ways insects help our world. first while bees and butterflies get all the credit, Moths, Wasps, ants and Beetles are also pollinators. secondly by rolling dung into the soil to provide plant roots with much needed. thirdly I learned other beneficial predator insects include green lacewings, Ground beetles, Dragonflies, and  Flies among many, many other animals. the fourth insects. are important to birds because they eat insects. fifth  insects can adapt to deforestation , global warming and climate change.
