Celebrating writers competition.

Dear President,

Did you know that our ecosystems are in lots of trouble? Why you may ask, here’s why. All the Pollution in our world is going towards the water and the oceans. Why is that bad? Well if you’re concerned, have a look at the Puhinui stream. It was once a beautiful stream running through the Tōtara park. Now, because of pollution and climate change it’s a whole different stream.

This is why I am writing this letter to your president. I ask you to help us with the Puhinui stream and encourage others to help as well. We need to stop pollution, president. You have enough rights to make a nationwide message and tell everyone to stop littering. So many people like me are concerned about what will happen in the future if this is what keeps happening.

As you know, there is no planet B. Just imagine if you gave everyone a place to live and they were still treating you badly. This is hurting our planet and we need to make a move. We have to become the kaitiakitanga of our planet and we need to save it.

We need to spread the word and save the planet, especially the Puhinui stream, let’s spread the word president, and the sea animals. They also need help. So let’s spread the word and save many sea animals. It’s on you president, and if you try to refuse, just remember that there’s no planet B.

You’re sincerely,

Manveer.

  1. Nice blog, I like the punctuation and paragraphs but you could have added prime minister instead of president

    1. Thanks for the comment Shivesh, but the prime minister and president aren’t much different unless I’m mistakened.

  2. Dear: Manveer
Nice writing I like the paragraphs and punctuation and something you could have done better is add just like one more paragraph overall nice.
