From the dinosaurs’ point of view

By Matthew Baird

As the sky turns grey,
The dinosaurs fray.
The clouds slowly turn dark,
As a large flaming ball of destruction roars and meets its mark.

A single pterodactyl,
The ever so amateur hero,
Runs around, Takes flight,
And is vaporised by the heat,
As quick as the speed of light.

Eruptions burst from the Earth,
And the ground gives birth to volcanoes.
Earthquakes appear,
Mountains disappear.

Finally, After waiting for hours,
BOOM!
A large dent,
as large as a continent,
Is made in what will become the Atlantic sea.
And the remaining dinosaurs are wiped out by meteors.
And then the quaternary glaciation comes around.
And everyone freezes to death faster than the blink of an eye.
