So me and my group were talking and writing about Sir Edmund Hillary. We all know he is famous for being the first person to climb Mount Everest. He is also from New Zealand and has 3 children and is married to a woman named June Mulgrew. But he is not just married to one person he was married to 2 and her other name is Lousie Mary Rose. He died in 11th January 2008. And was born in 20th July 1919.

They played their first international game in July 23 1904 so the scores were 1-0 and they sadly lost.

Around 1893 they were called “The All Blacks” and they were known as the All Blacks for Power,Precision and Pride. And they were originally called the “Original” when I think they had no name to be called out as.

6. Why do the All Blacks perform a haka before each match? What does it mean and what do they perform it for?
They perform the haka before each match because it is to express unity, challenge opponents, and connect with their cultural heritage and fans before a match. It means showing pride and unity and know that you are happy and proud to be a Maori person.
