sir Edmund Hillary was a very famous New Zealand he was born in 20th of July 1919. he discovered his passion to climb mountains on a school trip to Mount cook. he became a full-time beekeeper in 1938. after a few years of being a full-time beekeeper Hillary joined and served in the RNZAF from 1943-1945. in a boating incident on 1945 and Hillary got severe burns on his arm thus ending his military. After his military services ended he became a mountaineer climbing Mount Cook New Zealand southern Alps and the Himalayas in 1953 sir Edmund Hillary was the first person to climb Mount Everest. After the mid-1970s, and particularly following the tragic death of his wife and youngest daughter in a plane crash in Nepal in 1975, Hillary dedicated most of his energy to the welfare of the Sherpa people through the Himalayan trust, which he had established in 1960. sir admin Hillary died on 8th of January 2008.
