Do you remember? The eighteenth of October.
The first day of camp, finally over.
The first day went by, far too quick
It went as quick as a flick.
As we settled in our bunk,
the lights went out and the shivering begun.
My sleeping bag did not do its job
I felt like the meat section in a grocery shop
The next day we went,
hiking was our first event.
The amount of stairs, plants, and streams we saw
Made our jaws drop in awe.
As we came back, sweating like like the Hunua falls
we all raced to our bathroom stalls.
When the night came rolling in;
we were in our beds, fast asleep and tucked in.
The rest of the days went by
activities like archery, kayaking, and riding on a mountain bike!
It had finally arrived, our last day.
The day we can finally go home and astray
We sang our final goodbyes and played our last games
while we finished our last camps days.
“Goodbye Camp Adair!” We all cheered
As we drove away, our camp days finally cleared.
