I was playing games
In the holidays
Shooting hoops
And they all bricked
I went to a amusement park
And I had lots of fun
I went to Timezone with my friends
We had fun and we saw lots of Supercars
Every day I stayed up till 2 in the morning
To play video games with my friends
I went to a waterfall and took many pictures
I went to my cousins house and played fifa with him
We played football and cricket outside
I went to a park and played with my dog
In the holidays I’ve had lots of fun
When it’s a house assembly day our teachers encourage us to wear our house colour clothes so we can represent our house. All the house groups split off in different areas of the school. When we get to our house group we sit down and the house captains make us practice our chant, when were done practicing our house captains tell the teachers to choose a student who’s been doing good as a example- Behaving, sitting quietly, not mucking around, singing the chant loud and nicely. When the teachers have picked the students, the house captains have a fun game planned for us to play. If you played one of the games you get a token. After that the house captains give out certificates that the teachers wrote to the people that stood out to them. After that we don’t do much we just sing our chant a couple times until it’s 9:45 than we all have to sit in Tamaki. Then we have to wait for our teachers to give us the next instructions.
So you want to be an Olympian? “Yes sir” well you need to do a lot I mean a lot of training. “What kind of training” what sports do you want to participate in the Olympics? “basketball sir” basketball huh, alright tell me are you athletic? “Yes” are you physically strong? “Yes” Thats really good, if you want to be a famous athlete and participate in the Olympics you need to keep your self healthy and in shape. Do you play for a basketball team? “Currently no, but I’m looking for a team” Ok so step one you need to look for a basketball team, if you start making a name for your self and working hard everyday no matter what. Scouts will definitely be amazed by your ability and dedication. Step two you need to be famous for the teams to choose you because, if the teams don’t see your ability’s and what you can do they will never know who you are. So what I recommend is having a social media account with that you can post your trainings and eventually someone will see your hard work and your skills and maybe you will be selected for the squad.

A rich New Zealander who is a producer called sir Peter Jackson. He is a well respected man who’s always had a dream to become a famous star worldwide. He is a wealthy man and has achieved lots of things.
Born in 1961 was a young Peter Jackson, he was raised in the four northern suburb of Pukera Bay. His parents- Joan Ruck, William Jackson. They are immigrants from England. Peter Jackson started making short films in his backyard when he was nine years old. He explored using a variety of cameras seeing which one worked and which one didn’t. He dropped out of school at a young age of 16 years old so he could get a job and support his filming aspirations.
In 1987 Sir Peter Jackson was featured in a film the film is called bad taste it’s a on horror film. He was a director in the film and that’s where Peter Jackson’s career started to take off Many of his friends were also included in it and they also started working on it for free! The shooting of the film was normally done on the weekends since Jackson was working full-time.
Syeda Jackson was featured in every Lord of the rings. He is best known as a director writer and a producer.Lord of the rings and the hobbit triology. Both are which adapted from the novels by Jrr Tolkien.
Did you know most of the Jacksons awards are from the Lord of the rings. He has been awarded three academy awards for the Lord of the rings. Including best director and the best adapted screenplay. His others include three BAFTAS,a golden globe, two primetime Emmy awards and four Saturn awards among others.The film he worked on the Lord of the rings the return of the king one Oscar of stunning 11 times. It is tied with other film called Titanic for the most Oscar wins a couple of people know that Jackson was made a Knight companion of New Zealand order of ment in 2010.

Many people didn’t know he actually had type to diabetes but recently revealed winning his battle against it. He also has two children Billy Borden 1995 and Katie Borden 1996. He also has an upcoming movie called untitled adventures. His net worth is over 600 million. Can you guess how much he is worth? If you get 1.6 bill? You are correct! He is a really wealthy man who decided to be a filmmaker while watching King Kong when he was five years old!

I asked my mum ” can we please go shopping I want to buy a pink shirt for tomorrow” shes asked me what’s tomorrow? I told her it’s pink shirt day! She had no clue what that was but she told me “okay fine let’s go” I quickly hopped in the car and we drove to H&M. When we arrived I was running around the store trying to find a pink shirt. My mum called my name and said ” i found one” I quickly rushed over as fast as I can to go try it on, I took it in the changing room and it fit perfectly and looked awesome. The next day I woke up did the usual routine but instead of School uniform I put on black shorts and the pink shirt I bought yesterday. My grandad drove me to school in fact I was twenty minutes early than usual because it was my first ever experience of pink shirt day because I never participated in it. When I got in class my teacher told me and everyone else who was wearing pink to go to the hall because everyone had to take a picture. So we all sat down and the teacher’s took the picture. I don’t remember too much of what happend because this experience is from 2021 but I wrote all the details I remember, Thank you.
To all those people that sacrificed themselves for us.
They fought in ww1 at Gallipoli. It makes me feel proud that I live in a wonderful country with very kind and generous people and soldiers in ww1 fought for us. Many soldiers fought in Gallipoli, more than 16 thousand soldiers fought in Gallipoli and 2779 soldiers died. When I think about the war in Gallipoli it makes me feel sad to think about that more than 100 years ago that many Nz soldiers died for our country.

One dark night in New Zealand there was an amazing night sky. You could see lots of planets with your naked eye such as, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and lots more! There was a Huge crowd looking up at the sky, it was like I’m dreaming. No one’s ever seen a night sky so beautiful. Luckily someone brought a telescope with them in their car so everyone had a chance to look at the sky. It was a wonderful experience in my life and hope I have another experience like this in my life. Thanks for reading my story!
Digital Art in kahu!
On the 27th of February all the Kahu students had digital art! We had to go on keynote and design a photo about our personality and what we do/like. We had an entire block to finish the project and it was a fun task to do! We didn’t have a limit of the about of objects we put in the design. We had a success criteria’s such as, we had to change the size of the object, we had to change the colour and rotate it. Then hand it in when we’re done.
That was a fun activity to do and hopefully we will have more activity/projects like this.
